ELEMENTARY DYSLEXIA AND GT SERVICES

 

Boles Elementary dyslexia services provide intensive small-group interventions for students identified with dyslexia by using a multisensory teaching approach that includes phonological awareness, sound-symbol association, syllabication, orthography, morphology, syntax, and reading fluency.  Students receive daily intervention four days a week through either the MTA or Reading by Design program.

 

Boles Elementary gifted services provide small-group enrichment for students identified as gifted.  Classes are held twice each week and focus on the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills enhanced through the use of the Texas Performance Standards Project.
