Kay L. Nimmo is a current 7th and 8th grade English Language Arts and Reading teacher at Boles Middle School in Quinlan, TX. Nimmo recently finished her second year at BMS, and her 23rd year overall. Nimmo has taught various subjects throughout the years with the bulk of her career in Oklahoma. Nimmo has been in Texas since 2014 and returned to graduate school at Texas A&M Commerce to add to her certificate in administration completing the coursework in 2018.

Nimmo is a 1992 graduate of Sulphur High School in Sulphur, OK. She graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts from Cameron University in Lawton, OK. While there she earned an art degree with a minor in education and physical education. In 1999, Nimmo earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree from The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in Chickasha, OK, in Elementary Education. In 2004, she graduated with a Master’s Degree as a Reading Specialist.
