GT/MTA Teacher
I graduated in 1987 from Fannindel ISD. During my senior year, I attended classes at Texas A&M—Commerce, then East Texas State University. Following graduation from high school, I went to Oklahoma Christian University of Science and Arts. I graduated in 1990 and enrolled again at Texas A&M—Commerce to fulfill requirements for Texas teacher certification.
I received a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in sociology and minoring in both English and family life while at OC. I am certified to teach all grade levels from Pre-K through eighth grade with an English specialization.

I have been a teacher for Boles ISD since 1993. I have taught kindergarten, fifth and sixth grades, seventh/eighth grade math and English, and am currently serving the district as GT Coordinator and Dyslexia Instructor.
I have been married for twenty-six years and have lived in Lone Oak for eighteen of them. My husband (not the sheriff) and I have two sons, Andrew and Jordan, who both attend Boles ISD. There is never a dull moment when these three guys, my dog, and my cat are all home!
I love to read, and I especially enjoy reading Christian historical fiction. When free time comes my way, I fill it with as many books possible. I also enjoy lateral thinking puzzles and other brain games.
