Current Position:

This is my third year teaching and also third year at Boles High School.

I teach three levels of American Sign Langauge and Yearbook. I am American Sign Language Club and Class of 2021 sponsor.

Previous Position:

I completed my 60 days of student-teaching experience at Katy ISD the past spring (January-May 2016). I did two days of substitute teaching and a day of proctoring the American Sign Language Level 1 Credit by Exam (CBE) for Katy ISD as well.

I was a sign language tutor at several colleges before I went to Lamar University in Beaumont. I did tutoring at Eastfield College in Mesquite, Collin College – Spring Creek Campus in Plano, and Lamar University. The students and the teachers at these schools complimented that I helped the students understand the language and linguistics of American Sign Language and its American Deaf Culture. They encouraged me to become an American Sign Language teacher.

  • cooking and baking different savory and sweet dishes
  • road tripping and camping
  • table-top role-playing-, board-, and video gaming
